Folds of Honor Golf Tournament

The Worthington Country Club Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce it will sponsor the second annual Folds of Honor Golf Tournament on November 11, 2024. Please mark your calendar for what many members have described as an exceptionally fun day and most worthy fundraising event. Please join us as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and support Folds of Honor in its legacy through the gift of education.

Thanks to the generosity of WCC members, suppliers and area businesses, last year’s tournament raised $24,200 for Folds of Honor. Our tournament is now one of the top Folds of Honor fundraisers in the state of Florida (click here to view our award).

Founded in 2007, the Folds of Honor mission is to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders. Its motto says it best: Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy.

Thanks to unwavering Patriots like you, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 52,000 scholarships across all 50 states and beyond. But the need for scholarships continues to rise. Want to learn more about Folds of Honor and its mission go to: https://foldsofhonor.org.Folds of Honor

To express our gratitude and support for SWFL military and first responder families, our tournament goal this year is to fund at least six $5,000 scholarships. We simply cannot reach this goal without you, our suppliers, and the support of area businesses.

Again, the Folds of Honor Golf Tournament will be held on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024. More information about the tournament will be sent throughout the year, including the registration link. Remember to register once the link is available as tee time availability will go fast! If you have questions or comments regarding the tournament, please contact John Wood @ jgwood18@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance for your continued support!
