Dear Members

As the Worthington Country Club Charitable Foundation has reported in the past, most events and activities are sponsored on behalf of a specific recipient and we are careful to inform members of the intended recipient prior to the event/activity.

In other instances, recipients have not yet been identified, allowing us to choose charities spontaneously when urgent and/or important needs arise. The Foundation received a recent request from the Bonita Springs Fire Control & Rescue District for a donation to continue its fire safety and injury prevention education for children and parents.

We are pleased to report to you that your donations through Bingo, Queen of Hearts and other non-specific activities allowed us to contribute $240 to purchase materials for 80 children and their parents.

As a reminder, members are invited to recommended charities that align with the values and culture of WCC and that all members would be proud to support. You may contact any Foundation Board Member to recommend, to ask a question or to offer feedback at any time.
